MMAWeekly Radio returns for Wednesday’s show featuring Strikeforce champ Luke Rockhold, Tarec Saffiedine and debate during The Sixth Round.

After defeating Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza last year, Luke Rockhold has been itching at the chance to go prove he deserves that middleweight title by defending it. Now he gets his chance against Keith Jardine this Saturday in Strikeforce.

Does Jardine deserve a shot at the belt? Rockhold weighs in on that topic.

Also, Tarec Saffiedine is gunning for a shot at the vacated Strikeforce welterweight title and he hopes to earn that by beating Tyler Stinson. He also hopes to earn a rematch with Tyron Woodley to fight for the belt. Hear what he has to say on today’s show.

Finally, the debate heats up in January with discussion about the UFC’s welterweight division and women’s MMA with the following topics:

– How different will the welterweight division look when GSP returns?
– Who do you believe has the better chance of capturing the title…Johny Hendricks or Jake Ellenberger?
– UFC Primetime will kick off later this month with Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit. What do you think we will see out of Nick Diaz? Will it be positive or negative results?
– Do you believe Gina Carano will ever return to MMA?
– With Gina gone, has Ronda Rousey already become the new face of women’s MMA? Is that fair?
– Who deserves the next shot at Miesha Tate…Ronda Rousey, Sarah Kaufman or Alexis Davis?
– Will you go see ‘Haywire’ when it’s released?

This is MMAWeekly Radio and The Sixth Round for Wednesday Jan 4, 2012.
