UFC 133 fighters Mike Pyle and Chad Mendes, as well as MMA legend Bas Rutten, stop by MMAWeekly Radio for Tuesday’s edition of the big show.

Mike Pyle takes on young fighter Rory MacDonald in a pivotal welterweight match-up at UFC 133: Evans vs. Ortiz II. Pyle has been impressed by MacDonald thus far, but still believes he’s a little green in the sport and it’s shown in some of his fights.

“(Carlos Condit) put him in a world that he hadn’t been in before, and that’s having an experienced, tough hard nosed fighter giving him hell and he wasn’t able to take that,” Pyle said.

Pyle hopes to duplicate that when he meets MacDonald this weekend in Philadelphia.

Also on the show, Chad Mendes explains why he took the fight with Rani Yahya at UFC 133 instead of waiting for UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo, and also says if he wins he’s absolutely going to ask for a title shot following his fight.

MMA legend Bas Rutten also swings by the show to talk about his latest acting gigs and work he’s doing on the silver screen.
