Melvin Guillard at UFC 119MMAWeekly Radio returns for Tuesday’s show with TUF Finale fighters Melvin Guillard and Mike Ricci as well as the best debate in MMA.

Melvin Guillard talks about returning from his last fight and loss, and how his focus has changed away from looking for title shots.

Mike Ricci stops by to discuss his time on the Ultimate Fighter, why he hated living in the house, and the role of hockey amongst Canadians.

The debate also heats up on today’s show with all new topics:

– Ronda Rousey debuts as headline fight for UFC 157. How much pressure is there on her first PPV to draw big numbers?

– Rory MacDonald says he fights for himself and not for the fans. Is this a good move or bad move for Rory going forward?

– Is the UFC making the right move putting GSP vs. Diaz next?

First of all, this is NOT MLB, NFL, NHL, or anything like those sports….THIS IS FIGHTING!!!!! Why do fights happen? BECAUSE PEOPLE DON’T LIKE EACH OTHER for whatever reason (doesn’t matter what the reason is). From a business standpoint and also from a sports fans’ perspective, rivalry is EVERYTHING in fighting!

  • I think rory mcdonald is a sociopath. He has the stereotypical flat affect and lack of empathy. He doesnt care about the fans or anyone and has never shown any emotion but aggression and vanity

Newsflash for Rory… Without the fans you are fighting for a $100 a fight, in the back room of a bar. You better start being fan friendly or it just might be the case anyway.
