MMAWeekly Radio returns for Tuesday’s show with special guest Kurt Angle and former fighter turned manager Jason Chambers.

Kurt Angle joins the show to talk about his upcoming role in the film “Warrior” but also expands and gives his thoughts on a run at the 2012 Olympics and how he almost became a UFC fighter just a few months ago.

“I contacted (Dana White) again, I was thinking about dropping out of Impact wrestling, and there were some personal problems with my marriage. I just wanted to get away and I contacted Dana White, I flew out, and he had me take the UFC physical. I passed it thank God, and he gave me the offer,” Angle revealed.

Angle goes much deeper in the interview and also discusses if he’d ever consider a run in MMA in the future.

Also on the show, former fighter Jason Chambers joins the show to discuss his new management firm Apex Sports Agency and what he’s doing for fighters now.

I’d be really interested to hear from Dana what his “offer” to Kurt actually was… if there was even a meeting. Can someone remember to ask him next time you see him? :D
