Tuesday’s edition of MMAWeekly Radio welcomes coach Greg Jackson and Strikeforce fighter KJ Noons to the show.
Jackson stops by to discuss Jon Jones latest win over Lyoto Machida at UFC 140. Jackson has watched Jones grown into one of the top champions in the sport, and he expects only bigger things in the future.
The famed coach also addresses his comments after the fight where he was heard telling Jones to go check on his opponents and ‘get some fans’. Jackson regrets using those words and explains it during the interview.
“I said ‘go check on Lyoto Machida and get yourself some fans’ and I shouldn’t have said it that way, and it wasn’t my intention,” said Jackson.
Also on the show, former Elite XC champion KJ Noons drops by to talk about his fight this weekend with Billy Evangelista, and his desire to get back to the top of the division after a disappointing loss to Jorge Masvidal.
Damon and Jeff also discuss the international incident that is former TUF star Junie Browning and his misadventures in Thailand. The topics of the day also include TUF Brazil with new coaches Wanderlei Silva and Vitor Belfort.
