There is very rarely a day that goes by without a mixed martial arts event airing on cable television or pay-per-view in the United States. However, as detailed in the MMA Television Guide on MMAWeekly.com, this week will be a particularly busy one for MMA enthusiasts.

A marathon of The Ultimate Fighter 4 airs throughout the day on Monday to build up to the 8:00 PM broadcast of UFC Live and Inside, which will feature pre-taped footage of the weigh-ins from Hollywood, Florida as Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock get set to square off for the third time.

Also, though it’s not airing in primetime, there is a new one-hour special that will preview UFC 64’s top two fights, and this special debuts on Monday night at 11:30 PM (all Spike TV times are ET/PT).

A marathon of The Ultimate Fighter’s third season will air throughout the day on Tuesday to build up to the 8:00 PM broadcast of “UFC: The Final Chapter” with Ortiz vs. Shamrock III as the live main event, and this event is expected to be the most-watched UFC event of all time by a wide margin. The event was scheduled for this particular date so that it could serve as a strong lead-in for Spike TV’s first annual “Scream Awards” at 10:00 PM.

Fans of MMA can also look forward to a new episode of TUF 4 on Thursday night, the UFC 64 pay-per-view on Saturday night, and numerous IFL replays throughout the week. With a gap in the schedule from October to November, this will be your last chance until November to catch replays of the IFL on Fox Sports Net, so be sure to check out the MMA Television Guide for a complete listing of every replay time for every individual Fox Sports Net affiliate.

You can get the full info on all of the premieres and replays for all MMA events on cable television and pay-per-view in the coming days, weeks, and months at any time by clicking on the link that says “MMA Television Guide” on the left-side navigational bar on MMAWeekly.com.
