For Frank Mir, it couldn’t get any better. In June of 2004 he was at the top of his game. After disposing of Tank Abbott and Wes Sims in quick fashion, he fought for the UFC Heavyweight Championship against Tim Sylvia.

Mir once again in quick fashion defeated the champion in under a minute by armbar. It took just :50 seconds to become the UFC champion. In a matter of seconds in early 2005, a motorcycle accident changed everything. The worst was feared. Later it was revelead the champion had a broken femur. Some thought his career would be over.

In an MMAWeekly Exclusive, Frank Mir speaks publicly for the first time since the ppv announcement about his future. What does Mir think about Arlovski? How about his first upcoming fight after his injury? Who will his first fight officially be against? How his outlook has changed and much, much more. Hear from the champion himself in his own words on MMAWeekly TV.

Mir said about Arlovski, “…he’s made himself into a monster, and that’s who I want to fight is a monster.” He continued to say, “So everybody’s made him out to be something that’s unstoppable, and that makes me excited.
