08-Miesha-Tate-TUF-17-Finale-wUFC president Dana White, for the longest time, said women would never fight in the UFC. Miesha Tate didn’t take that as a slight, she took it as a personal challenge.

“I don’t like to be told know,” she said in a recent episode of UFC Ultimate Insider. “So I was on a mission to show him and prove him wrong. It became a goal and it became a dream and now it’s become a reality.”

Check out Miesha Tate’s UFC Ultimate Insider interview leading up to Wednesday night’s premiere of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate.

    I told him KNOW wtf

    • David Wise

Too funny, huh I told him “know”. Anyway, Tate thinks too highly of herself. It was always all Rousey and nobody but Rousey. Tate is only a legend in her own mind. She eats Ronda’s dust.

let me give you another tip, meisha! You didn’t prove anything to dana, and you had nothing to do with women’s mma coming to the UFC. Dana has stated as emphatically as possible that the only reason there is a women’s division in the UFC is because of ronda rousey!

other than getting your ass beat by her, you had nothing to do with it!

  • MikeMcKinney

Honestly Gina “made” women’s mma. Rhonda brought it to the UFC. And everybody “No’s” it… Lol

Tate destroys women in MMA ? so your saying Tate beats women? Tate wins, Tate is a winner, yes ? That is what you say? You must really like her Gyro, but it’s Rousey that really destroys women in the cage ! get your head out of Tates butt and smell what Rhonda is cooking Bob.

No need to go on a mission to prove Dana wrong, the fool does that on his own
