While the fight is still six months away, the first odds have been released for the middleweight fight between Michael Bisping and Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller for the fight taking place at the ‘Ultimate Fighter’ season 14 finale.
Miller, who will have been out of action for well past a year when the two middleweights meet, comes back as a +185 underdog in the bout.
“Jason Miller should be one of Michael Bisping’s toughest and most intriguing match ups to date. It’s no secret Miller is one of the most dangerous submission artists in the game today. He’s got a solid chin and always comes to fight. If this fight hits the floor Bisping could find himself in a tough spot,” Kalikas told MMAWeekly.com.
“With that being said, I still think it’s Bisping’s fight to lose. Bisping should be able to dictate where this fight takes place and pick apart Miller on the feet. The Odds indicate that this should be a fairly competitive fight, and I think that’s exactly what we’ll see.”
Bisping has won his last three fights in a row and four out of his last five. The Brit has been gunning for a top spot in the middleweight division and he may be able to take a big leap forward if he can beat the always charismatic Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller.
For Miller it’s a return to the UFC after more than 5 years away from the promotion. The host of MTV’s ‘Bully Beatdown’ will try to make just as much of an impact in the fight as he assuredly will do as coach on the ‘Ultimate Fighter’.
The show began filming last week in Las Vegas and is expected to make the television debut on Spike TV late this summer.
