Melvin Guillard: ‘Every Fight’s a Title Fight’

Melvin Guillard admits he was very focused on becoming UFC lightweight champion, and it may have come back to bite him a bit in his last fight.

Guillard suffered a loss to Joe Lauzon last October, and it made him realize that he needed to change his mindset and approach leading into a fight.

Now with his new Blackzilian team behind him, Guillard focused on his wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, while also changing his attitude.

Now Guillard is looking at every fight like a title fight and not looking towards the future any further than the opponent in front of him.
