Martin Kampmann is one of the newer fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but with a MMA record of 14-2, he’s not a fighter to be overlooked. Kampmann stumbled onto the American MMA scene when he was visiting Las Vegas on a training trip from his home in Denmark, but ended up being a last minute replacement on the World Fighting Alliance card last summer in California, thanks to agent Ken Pavia.
Tonight, he steps into the Octagon for the third time, having gone 2-0 thus far, to face returning Miletich fighter Drew McFedries, a tough fighter in his own right.
In this exclusive interview with MMAWeekly, Kampmann talks about tonight’s fight, his training, his transition to fighting in the cage, and the UFC in particular.
