No s***. Four takedowns in a round. I knew he wasn’t going to have the cardio for a five round fight. Hopefully he learns to pace himself.
I have a feeling all of Condit’s hyper accurate punching might have helped to gas you out too.
Martin please stop with the excuses. This is not Bellator or Strikeforce.
F you A hole.
Is that you Martin?
and i think the point was ,,,,,he was dead tired !!!!
he probably wasn’t wrestling with that kind of intensity. Sure he was training for 5 rounds but that can drain you. When I roll without rolling in awhile I can be totally done in 5 or 10 minutes.
Not to sound like a fanboy, but the fact that a solid stand up artist like Kampmann was so intent on dragging Condit to the ground speaks volumes of how good Condit is on the feet. Condit’s takedown defense wasn’t good enough to stop Kampmann’s takedowns early, but it was good enough to force Kampmann to try so hard that he had nothing left five minutes in. That said Kampmann never quit, he kept going for those takedowns, and tried to land some shots on the feet, he was just outclassed.
i think it had more to do with the fact that that is how he beat condit the first time and thats how gsp and hendrix beat him as well so the recipe to beat condit is there.
