Former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Marloes Coenen has put the whole Golden Glory vs. Zuffa scruff behind her.
Although Coenen’s Team Golden Glory is now back on speaking terms with UFC president Dana White, it doesn’t appear that she’ll be part of the discussion any time soon. Coenen was a guest on HDNet’s InsideMMA on Friday night where she exclusively revealed that she has signed a three-fight contract with a new promotion.
Coenen will likely make her return to fighting and her debut for the new North Carolin-based Black Eye Promotions in February.
Coenen was rather evasive of questions regarding Strikeforce and Zuffa, but did explain what lead to her decision to sign on with a brand new promotion, such as Black Eye.
