Mark Munoz Faces Caio Magalhaes at UFC 184

A middleweight match-up between Mark Munoz and Caio Magalhaes has been added to the growing UFC 184: Weidman vs. Belfort fight card in Los Angeles. UFC officials announced the addition on Thursday.

Mark MunozMunoz (13-5) is coming off back-to-back losses and has been defeated in three of his last four outings. In June, Munoz inked a new four-fight deal with the UFC. He hopes to get his career back on track when he faces Magalhaes on Feb. 28 at the Staples Center.

Magalhaes (9-1) is riding a four-fight winning streak. He lost his promotional debut to Buddy Roberts in June 2012 and has gone unbeaten inside the Octagon since his debut. He’s coming off a knockout win over Trevor Smith on Nov. 8.

UFC 184: Weidman vs. Belfort takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 28, and features two title bouts. Middleweight champion Chris Weidman puts his title on the line against top contender Vitor Belfort in the main event, while women’s bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey faces Cat Zingano in the co-main event.
