On the latest episode of Majority Draw Radio, hosts Ryan McKinnell and Danny Acosta try to make sense of one of mixed martial arts’ wildest weeks in memory.

The excitement and quality of Daniel Cormier stepping up to fight Jon Jones for the UFC’s 205-pound belt are discussed and Nick Diaz’s reentry to the Octagon are touched on in addition to Conor McGregor’s star in Ireland and beyond. Of course, the unbelievable Chael Sonnen and Vitor Belfort PED sagas are also discussed.

UFC female bantamweight Leslie Smith joins the show to express her joy about all things fighting. She comments on her teammate Nick Diaz’s return to the active ranks, her grind to come up in the sport, and the thrill of her first win in the Octagon via KO of Jessamyn Duke earlier this month. “The Peacemaker” takes on the unofficial “TUF Hunter” moniker, declaring she wants to fight every woman to appear on The Ultimate Fighter 18 next in order to prove to herself she made the right decision to stay with Invicta rather than compete on the reality show fight tournament. This, she hopes, can build her back toward another fight with defacto rival, former Strikeforce bantamweight champ Sarah Kaufman.

“I didn’t go to the [TUF] tryouts because I believed in Invicta,” she told Majority Draw Radio. She later stated, “To solidify I made the right decision, I want to fight them all.”
