The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Wednesday made a bit of a surprise announcement naming Rashad Evans vs. Michael Bisping the headline bout for its Nov. 17 event at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
On Thursday, the UFC added the four additional main card bouts for the event to the line-up.
Houston Alexander has been the surprise of the light heavyweight division, knocking out Keith Jardine and Alessio Sakara in his first two UFC fights. He faces Chute Boxe fighter Thiago Silva, also 2-0 so far in the Octagon.
Following a year-and-a-half layoff, David Terrell returns at UFC 78 in a middleweight bout against Ultimate Fighter veteran Ed Herman.
Team Quest fighter Hector Lombard will make his UFC debut in a welterweight bout with Karo Parisyan. Holding a 7-2 record in the Octagon, against Lombard, Parisyan is looking to cement a shot at the title.
Following a bout with staph infection, Spencer Fisher returns to the overcrowded lightweight division against undefeated Frankie Edgar.
The bout between Evans and Bisping marks the first time that two Ultimate Fighter season winners fight each other.
