The main card for the upcoming Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey card has been announced, as well as the preliminary card set to air on Showtime Extreme.

The main event for the evening of course pairs Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate against former Olympian Ronda Rousey in what has to be the most anticipated fight in the women’s division since Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos met Gina Carano.

The co-main event for the card will feature a light heavyweight bout between former champion Gegard Mousasi and contender Mike Kyle. The fight will be a three round affair, but the winner will almost assuredly fight for the Strikeforce 205lb belt next.

Josh Thomson faces K.J. Noons in a pivotal lightweight showdown, while heavy hitter Paul Daley meets Kazuo Misaki in a welterweight bout on the main card.

Rounding out the five fight main card is a middleweight tussle between former champion Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza and rising prospect Derek Brunson.

The preliminary card that kicks off at 8pm ET/PT will feature a potential No. 1 contender’s bout between Sarah Kaufman and Alexis Davis.

meisha tate always looks like she smells a skunk with that crooked nose. sara kauffman is too boring and plain looking for prime time TV. Rousey wins within 2 minutes.
