Luiz Cane and Mike Dolce

Luiz Cane will be making his move to the UFC middleweight division and he’s enlisted one of the top coaches in the sport to help him do it.

The move to 185lbs will be assisted by nutritionist and weight cutting guru Mike Dolce, who confirmed to MMAWeekly.com that he will be working with the Brazilian to help him make the cut.

Cane has gone just 1-3 in his last four fights after three straight wins in the UFC’s light heavyweight division.

In his last fight at UFC 134, Cane was dominating UFC newcomer Stanislav Nedkov before getting caught and finished just before the end of round one.

Now Cane has decided to make the move to middleweight and will begin working with Dolce to get his nutrition in line and start the shift to 185lbs.

There’s been no word yet on when Cane will fight next, but he plans on making middleweight his new home in the UFC.
