Robbie Lawler has had to withdraw from his ICON Sport main event bout scheduled for Dec. 15 in Honolulu. He was to defend his ICON middleweight title against Hawaiian fighter Kala Kolohe Hose.
Sources close to Lawler confirmed that the EliteXC and ICON champion suffered a bicep injury in his right arm that will likely put him out of action for the next couple of months.
Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran David Loiseau confirmed that he is being considered as a replacement for Lawler. He indicated that he was willing to consider taking the fight, but that a deal to put him in the ring had not yet been agreed upon.
