Following back to back losses in the Ultimate Fighting Championship more than two years ago, Robbie Lawler has since gone on to win five out of his last six fights including a recent International Fight League win over Eduardo Pamplona.

Taking Pamplona out at 1:36 of the second round, Lawler spoke with MMAWeekly’s Matt Hill about the fight. He talked about how he thought Pamplona was “slower than I thought he’d be,” his training with the fighters at Pat Miletich’s gym and more.

Duane “Bang” Ludwig and Alvin Robinson were also victorious at the latest Ring of Fire show in Denver, Colorado. Before a record crowd in Colorado, Ludwig basically schooled his opponent, Shinya Kumazawa, to notch his second win in a row. He broke down the fight, giving his thoughts on his opponent, what his future plans are and his thoughts about going back to Japan to fight.

Robinson took Olly Bradstreet to task as well. A fourth-degree brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under John Crouch and Royce Gracie, Robinson choked out Bradstreet in the first round, grabbing the attention of a certain dominating American promotion in the process. Boosting his record to 8-1, Robinson talked about his win over Bradstreet, his background as a Gracie based fighter and what his future holds.
