- KING OF THE CAGE HEADS TO JAPAN

King of the Cage and Ronin Productions on Wednesday announced that they are bringing the KOTC brand of mixed martial arts to Japan. King of the Cage: Toryumon is scheduled for Jan. 30 at the Okinawa Convention Center.

The event will be available on American pay-per-view, featuring veteran Shooto fighter Mamoru Yamaguchi versus Frank Baca for the vacant KOTC world junior flyweight championship.

Toryumon also features former KOTC lightweight champion Tony Hervey facing Kotetsu Boku, Bellator fighter Toby Imada versus Pancrase veteran Kiichi Kunimoto, and Shigeki Matsuda making his professional debut against Tatsuya Sou.

Founded in 1998, King of the Cage has operated events across the globe, including the United States, Canada, England, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. King of the Cage: Toryumon marks the promotion’s first stop in the Land of the Rising Sun.
