The upcoming UFC 145 fight card in Montreal is filling up fast. The latest bout confirmed for the card will be welterweights Keith Wisniewski and newcomer Chris Clements.
Sources close to the match-up confirmed to bout to MMAWeekly.com with verbal agreements in place from the fighters.
It was a long hard road for veteran fighter Keith Wisniewski to work his way back to the UFC after nearly six years away, but he earned that right with his first fight back at UFC on Versus 6 last October.
Wisniewski came up short in his return bout against Josh Neer, so now he’ll try to finally get his first UFC victory when he returns in March.
UFC newcomer Chris Clements will appreciate his first fight in the UFC after a long career in several regional promotions. At 35 years of age, he knows his opportunity is now or never.
A longtime member of Team Tompkins in Canada, Clements has recently strung together an impressive series of victories including TKO’s over former UFC fighters Jonathan Goulet and Rich Clementi.
Clements will look to keep his four fight win streak alive when he faces Wisniewski on the undecard for the upcoming UFC 145 show in Montreal.
