One of the veterans of the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, Alex Karalexis stumbled in his time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Since exiting the promotion following a loss to Jason Von Flue, Karalexis has reeled of four straight victories, the last three under the banner of World Extreme Cagefighting.

This past Saturday night, Karalexis notched his belt with a hard earned victory over Josh Smith. His eye blackened and swollen in the first round, Karalexis continued to fight on en route to a majority decision.

On the same event, Brian Stann, a proud Marine, improved upon his professional record, which now stands at 4-0. He put on a dominant display, finishing off Craig Zellner with a TKO due to strikes as the first round was nearing a close.
