K-1 DYNAMITE To Show On Pay-Per-View

Hoboken, NJ (February 15, 2006) – K-1, the martial arts fighting sport, will make its long-awaited return to pay-per-view with K-1 Dynamite! on April 7, 2006 at 9 p.m.

The event will be available on cable systems nationwide on iN Demand Pay-Per- View.

The card’s marquee matches include jiu-jitsu expert Genki Sudo vs. Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto, a wrestler and shooto specialist, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu master Royce Gracie vs. freelance fighter Hideo Tokoro.

Other featured fighters include Bob “The Beast” Sapp, Sylvester “The Predator” Terkay, and Akebono.

Sapp is one of the most popular celebrities in Japan. A former offensive lineman in the National Football League, he is 25-9 in K-1 competition and is mobbed wherever he goes.
“The Predator” brings a professional wrestling background into the ring. Akebono is an American-born Sumo wrestler who reached the summit of his sport.

One of the world’s fastest-growing sports, K-1 fuses centuries of tradition from martial arts including karate, kung fu, tae kwon do and kickboxing into a thoroughly modern and electrifying spectator sport.

K-1 Dynamite is being distributed on Pay-Per-View by Integrated Sports, one of the nation’s leading distributors of niche pay-per view and closed circuit sports events.
