26-Julianna-Pena-TUF-18-Finale-w-478x270Julianna Pena etched her name in mixed martial arts history by becoming the first female winner of The Ultimate Fighter reality series on Nov. 30.  She submitted Shayna Baszler and Sarah Moras to earn a spot in the finals and finished Jessica Rakoczy with strikes to win a six-figure UFC contract and a custom Harley Davidson motorcycle.

She’ll jump into the deep end of the promotion’s women’s bantamweight division and told UFC Tonight that she’ll fight whoever the matchmakers want her to, including teammate, training partner and coach on The Ultimate Fighter Miesha Tate.

Some where Rowdy Rhonda, is pissing her panties. Here comes Juliana the real deal, can’t wait for her to whoop that a$$ !

I read Rousey already has an exit strategy from fighting. Odd for someone who has one UFC win. I think shes going to take the Gina route and get out of fighting to make movies. I doubt Juliana will get a chance to fight her before Rousey quits

I don’t fault Ronda for trying to secure her financial future outside of the cage. You do realize WMMA fighters don’t retirement type money. Ronda could beat Meisha, get hurt and never fight again. Then what. Live off the love of the fickle fans?

Neither do I. Maybe she wants to start a family for all we know. Men can fight well into their 30s without worrying about having to take 9+ months off to have a child.

I just don’t like this girl

Kind of refreshing hearing someone they would be willing to fight their friend. The guys can learn a thing or 2 from her, this is a business where its 1 on 1, not a team sport. Guys saying they won’t fight a team mate is dumb

Womens MMA need new faces and, has just arrived. love when in the show she was the underdog and other girls felt superior just to get beaten by the Vixen.
