I don’t remember speaking being his strong suit though….

  • Ron Wheeler

Chael Sonnen would have been better if UFC / Fox weren’t petty idiots who confuse commentating and fighting rules.

  • bvol

Could have done much much better. Not my first choice or 100th choice

  • Joe

They are not going to bring back Chael this soon. Why not go for one of the best commentators in the business and get Bas.

  • Stephen Quadros

    Why didn’t they call me?

  • David Lee Perez

Should have ask GSP to come on…

    • Sir_Roy

If only he could speak English well enough to be quick and coherent. If only he needed the cash. Lol.

  • jrcr_15

Strange choice, he was not well spoken on TUF, and comes across as one of the least likeable fighters in the UFC in terms of personality. To be honest, I would have thought they would have gotten a female to replace Chael.

Bad choice replacing Chael for Koscheck
      people hate Koscheck.

    • Hugh Shakeshaft

Koscheck does not jump out to me as a well spoken fighter, but time will tell. I’m sure they pull from well known fighters who are on the wane professionally. I guess Hendo and BJ must have tanked their auditions.

  • uncle

I suppose Diego will be next

  • Kyle Rayner

Should have just kept Chael. Or get Frank Mir.

  • Sir_Roy

I hope they give Chael his job back. Yeah, ban him from the fight game. But from commentating?

    • drkdisciple

I agree with most of your posts but not this one. Why would fox hire a cheater for a commentator’s job? Would espn hire lance Armstrong for “The Tour De France” analysis? Chael is very popular in the US but he is a liar and a cheater. The stuff he said about Brazilians was way over the line and I cannot blame FOX for wanting nothing to do with him.

Totally agree this is a bad choice. Fox sports one has prime opportunity to be a huge ratings network if it will dump the dorks and unlikable pro wash ups and keep the chicks. Their UFC coverage shows have been the best of any sports due to the commentators, and now they start adding douches.

He cant be any worse then Chris Lytle.
