A bantamweight bout between Brazilians Johnny Eduardo and Lucas Martins has been added to the UFC Fight Night 32 fight card.
UFC officials confirmed the match-up on Friday.
Eduardo (26-9) brought an 11-fight winning streak with him when he debuted in the UFC on Aug. 27 2011 against Raphael Assuncao at UFC 134. Assuncao ended the streak via unanimous decision. Due to injuries, Eduardo has fought one time since, winning a unanimous decision over Jeff Curran on May 15, 2012.
Eduardo is eager to return to action after 18 months on the sidelines.
Martins (14-1) suffered his first career loss in his UFC debut against Edson Barboza on Jan. 19. He has since put together back-to-back finishes with wins over Jeremy Larson and Junior Hernandez. He hopes to expand on his winning streak against the fellow Brazilian.
UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Henderson takes place on Nov. 9 at the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil. The event is headlined by a rematch between multi-division contenders Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson.
Henderson defeated Belfort when the two first fought at Pride 32 in 2006.
