The July 16 headliner between Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller was revealed Thursday night, but less than 24 hours later UFC officials added the explosive flyweight bout to the Atlantic City, N.J. fight card
Lineker (23-7) is coming off of a unanimous-decision loss to fast-rising star Ali Bagautinov at UFC 169 in early February. That bout derailed a four-fight winning streak, but it hopefully started a new streak for Lineker, one in which he continues to make weight.
The promising fighter has missed weight in three of his five previous bouts, but finally hit the mark at UFC 169. If he can keep things right on the scale and get back on track in the Octagon, there’s a lot of upside for Lineker.
Ozkilic (9-2) is another flyweight with huge amounts of potential, but also stumbled in his most recent bout, losing a unanimous decision to Louis Smolka earlier this year in January.
He only has two bouts to his credit in the Octagon, but, like Lineker, was on a four-fight winning streak prior to his most recent defeat.
