As he heads into his fight against former WEC champion Anthony Pettis at UFC 136, Jeremy Stephens isn’t lacking confidence.

The heavy handed striker most recently dispatched of Pettis’ teammate Danny Downes at the ‘Ultimate Fighter’ season 13 finale, giving Stephens his fourth win in his last five fights.

With Pettis coming in to the fight off a loss to Clay Guida on the same card, Stephens isn’t buying into the hype he had coming out of the WEC, and he plans on making it two losses in a row when they meet in Houston next month.

“Come Oct 8, I’m going to beat the (expletive) out of Anthony Pettis,” Stephens said in his video blog. “Knock him off his pedestal, whatever the (expletive) he thinks he’s on. Just expose this chump.”

In preparation for his upcoming fight, Stephens has done a series of video blogs and this is the latest, which shows his preparation for Pettis and training to get ready for UFC 136.

HAHAHAH……Stephens is either on drugs or he is seriously seriously ill. Pettis is going to capoeira kick him across the cage until he’s crying or waking up to bright lights.

wow, normally i feel bad for when i see two guys i see in a positive light matched up to fight because one of them has to lose. don’t feel that way anymore after reading those unflattering words stephens had for anthony. i hope pettis does to stephens what bendo did to miller.
