Jared Hamman Hurt, Kyle Noke Gets New Opponent for UFC on FX 2

Kyle NokeAn injury has forced UFC middleweight Jared Hamman out of his bout with Kyle Noke at UFC on FX 2: Alves vs. Kampmann. Undefeated Andrew Craig will step in Hamman’s place and face Noke on the March 3 card.

The UFC announced the change Thursday evening.

Craig (6-0) will be making his UFC debut following some time in Legacy Fighting Championships as their middleweight title holder. He comes off a unanimous decision win over Eric Schambari at Legacy Fighting Championships 8 in September 2011.

Noke is a former cast member of the UFC’s famed reality show, The Ultimate Fighter. The Australian fighter is sure to seek a stellar performance against his new opponent in front of the home crowd in Sydney. In his most recent outing, Noke was submitted by Ed Herman in the first round at UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle.

Hamman’s injury is unknown at this time. MMAWeekly.com attempted to contact his representatives, but no comment was provided at the time of this publication.
