At UFC 65 this weekend, James Irvin makes his first appearance in the Octagon since a disappointing loss to Stephan Bonnar in January of this year. He steps in against King of the Cage knockout artist Hector Ramirez.
Since we last saw him in the Octagon, Irvin has traveled a rough road, surprisingly losing to Loudine Sincaid in the WEC before bouncing back to defeat William Hill and Gary LaFranchi to earn his way back into the UFC.
Once regarded as one of the brightest young talents emerging in the UFC, Saturday night, we’ll see if Irvin is ready to make a move and work his way into contention.
Tonight Irvin will give us his thoughts on just how prepared he is for his return to the Octagon.
