This guy is a joke. He has not beat any serious talent minus a flash knockout of Jake Shields. The best guy other than Shields he beat was Mike Pyle. Sanchez is on the decline of his career but still should beat this joke. He doesn’t even deserve to be mentioned in any title picture.

maddawgmar What have you been smoking lately? Ellenberger is a fuc*in beast! Have you ever saw this guy fight? He’s probably the most technical power puncher in the welterweight division along with a very strong wrestling backround. I do see him beating sanchez and the only one I see giving him problems is GSP. With that being said his only loss came from Carlos Condit which was a RAZOR CLOSE DECISION. Condit was getting blasted that whole fight. DONT DESERVE TO BE MEENTIONED IN THE TITLE PICTURE? Do your homework and watch his fights. Hes smashing everyone.

Ellenberger deserves his props, but I would love to see him fight Shields again. He clipped Shields chin in that first fight, which was also 7 days after Shields dad/coach died. I do not think he could stand with Diaz or GSP.

I agree 100% Ellenberger can give problems to any of top 5 ranked 170 pounders.

Yep, this guy is true competition at 170 for real. Even Condit admitted Ellenberger was a real tough fight for him. I see this guy as a potential threat to GSP & possibly catching him with a vicious hook when that fight happens. Diego is got a real tough fight with this dude, I’m pulling Sanchez but I don’t see him winning this one.

Sanchez is entertaining but there is no way he can handle someone with Ellenberger`s power.
