UFC officials announced the booking on Tuesday.
A veteran of over 30 fights, Ivan Menjivar finally made his way back to the UFC earlier this year and has shown some impressive skills thus far.
Menjivar has gone 2-0 since coming back to the UFC picking up wins over Charlie Valencia and Nick Pace. Now the one-time welterweight who actually fought Georges St-Pierre almost a decade ago will look to make it three in a row when he returns in February.
Facing Menjivar will be TUF 14 veteran John ‘Prince’ Albert, who made his official debut a successful one earlier this month.
Albert took out former housemate Dustin Pague early in the first round to win his first fight in the UFC, and now he’ll try to make it 2 for 2 as he faces one of the most veteran fighters in the division.
The bout between Menjivar and Albert is the latest addition to the growing UFC on Fuel card headlined by welterweights Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez.
