With a win on Saturday night, Chael Sonnen is once again the man to challenge Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight title but will the fight actually happen?

Sonnen seems convinced that after Silva turned the fight down 4 times previously, that they won’t be fighting later this year.

There’s no way in hell Chael won all 3 rounds as two judges scored it. Just another unfair decision based on the marketability of the next fight! Bisping should’ve expected it.

    Game – Set & Match! Not sure how Bisping won any round? It was a close fight, but IF anything Chael @ least won 29-28, I was not surprised there were 30-27. As I’ve said before, Bisping is NO joke, only 4 losses, 3 of them were to former Champs & 1 was to Sonnen. Bisping is very underated, due to the fact that he’s so hated. Therefore people tend to dismiss his skill set. Listen I “HATE” Bisping just as much as the next guy, BUT, I give credit where it is due & Michael Bisping deserves credit for being a top 5 MW in the UFC (his record & the numbers do not lie). If you do not agree, then you are an idiot & very uneducated….. about MMA.

  WTF are you talking about idiot?!? Sonnen beat Bisping, it was very close but how in the **** do you give Bisping a single round, let alone two? I know b\c you scared that Silva has to fight Sonnen – get over it. If Sonnen was lucky the 1st time around, then you have nothing to be worried about right?!?
  
  Sonnen had Bisping’s back, had him mounted, took him down a half dozen times (at least) & landed some strikes. What did Bisping do, besides defend very well? When you defend, even as great as Bisping did, he’s still not attacking nor was he controlling the fight. Bisping did what Silva could not, get up after being taken down without taking a severe GnP, but I dont give Bisping the “win” for defending great, I give the win to the guy who was pressing the action & who was in control\better positions in the fight, therefore Sonnen wins. It was the closest 30-27 & 29-28 fight I’ever seen.

If you listen to this interview, Chael even says he thought Bisping could have had the first two. Either way, it was a pretty lame fight, nothing to write home about. Stop crying just because your favorite *** was in a much closer fight than most people expected.

        eat it KBE, you should get back to sucking your own wang. Logic doesnt exist in your head, as well as many other fans, which is why I get pissed. The 1st minute and a half, Sonnen took Bisbing down twice and pummeled him, Bisbing tried a takedown with 3:05 and was unsuccessful, they spent the next minute in the clinch and the rest of the round Sonnen was chasing Bisbing around cage. So he clearly won 1st and clearly won 3rd. 2nd was close, end of story.

      Yes, he says in this video hovering above the comments, that he asked Bisping what he thought of the fight. Bisping said he thought he won the first two rounds (meaning he thought Bisping, himself) Sonnen agreed saying it could have gone either way. I personally thought Sonnen won the first and third, but the first could have gone either way. Did Rogan kick you off Fear Factor or something, why are you so angry?

    Good point! Maybe it was Bisping, but that was the most lackluster win I’ve seen from Chael in the past three years. Maybe it was the weight cut, or maybe it was the punch that Bisping landed in the first round (that Chael was talking about). He said he never felt comfortable in that fight. I would love to see Sonnen beat Silva, but the only way he does that is if he gets back to the same shape & plan he did in the first fight. Just my opinion.

      I agree with most of what you said, but people need to stop comparing Sonnen Vs Bisping & Sonnen Vs Silva. 2 completely diff fighters, hence the reason Bisping was able to get up after being taken down, Silva could not… not without taking bombs. Just b\c Bisping did so well in regards to not getting GnPounded by Sonnen doesn’t mean ****, especially in regards to Silva. Silva has great stand up, Bisping has great defence while on his back…. something Silva does not have. Its that simple, Bisping isn’t 22-4 for nothing, espeically since hes fought 16 times in the UFC with 12 wins – 4 losses. 3 losses to former world champs & 1 loss to Sonnen, thats impressive.
      
      I hate Bisping like most people, but hes not fighting the best in the world & winning b\c he sucks. Hes hated so much fans forget or do not pay attention to his skills. KO’d once, never submitted & only 4 losses in 26 fights = IMPRESSIVE! Even for a ****!

I scored the third round for Sonnen obviously. I scored the second for Bisping, for the fact that he held Sonnen against the fence, but a close round. I scored the first for Sonnen because of the takedowns, again a close round. Mike Goldberg said it, “Dana White always says don’t leave it to the judges.”

I also like how everyone says no one like Chael. By the sound of the crowd last night when he was announced and when he got the decision. That place exploded.

What did Silva look like after his 3 jokes of a title defence Vs Cote, Maia & Leites?!? Remember Sonnen was preparing for a sick wrestler in Munoz with severe KO power in both hands. Quit the crying about Sonnen in this fight, it means nothing considering Silva was not in there fighting.

ALL you Anderson Silva fans & nut huggers should be happy Sonnen won, if Sonnen was lucky in the 1st fight, then imagine what Silva is going to be able to do when healthy, especially after Sonnen, who looked very avg Vs Bisping, you guys must be PUMPED….. NO?!? I would be if I was an Anderson Silva fan, especially if everything I just said above is true.
