Cyborg gonna Cyborg.

Cris “Cyborg” Justino proved once again that she reigns on high as queen of Invicta with a first-round finish of Daria Ibragimova at Invicta FC 15 on Saturday in Orange County, Calif.

Cyborg blasted away at her opponent for almost the entire opening round and finished her off with two seconds to spare at 4:58 of Round 1.

Ibragimova attempted to bring the fight to the ground by relentlessly pursuing a single-leg takedown for consecutive minutes. Cyborg, however, prevented the fight from ever going to the canvas and forced Ibragimova to fight a standing battle.

Towards the end of the round, Cyborg landed a devastating right hand that sent her opponent falling. After a pursuit to the ground, Cyborg landed hammerfists and ended the bout with yet another finish to add to her record.

With the win, Justino retains her featherweight belt and improves to 15-1, 1 NC.

In the co-main event, Livia Renata Souza retained her Invicta strawweight title with a first-round victory over DeAnna Bennett.

Souza planted a solid kick to the midsection, sending Bennett to the floor from the force of the impact. A few more strikes while on the ground capped it off and handed Souza the TKO win at 1:30 of the opening frame.

Earlier winners on the card included Amber Brown, Colleen Schneider, Mizuki Inoue, Megan Anderson and TUF vet Angela Hill.

Biggest fraud in all of mma. Anyone who believes she’s actually clean is so freaking clueless. I can’t stand this woman. Guys using juice is bad enough. A woman using it against other women is no different than a guy beating up women, and I hate that crap.

    • kale

That’s a serious claim there buddy.. you should watch what you say on the Internet especially when there is no proof.
She is the best female fighter in the world and has been since winning the strike force championship imo. The media and daina said ronda was the best but I never bought into the bullshit. Yeah cyborg pist dirty before and that was a damn shame but it was several years ago that it happened. Anderson Silva just pist dirty but everyone still calls him the best ever (Fedor imo).

People like you that run at the chance to call her a juicer everytime she wins is retarted! If you want to cry about something that happened years ago then let’s line up all the male ufc fighters and just talk shit about them cheating everytime they fight.. get over it!

      • edawg90 .

Calling someone retarded and not spelling it right is ironic. She was busted for PED’s and therefore everything she does should be suspect.

        • earlsimmons

But shes passed the tests so shouldn’t you be suspicious of the ones conducting it? Or does she conduct her own test? Or does she have some way of getting around the test? You have nothing bro…

      • groinstrike

She’s already been busted for steroids, retard.

        • David

No ish…. in 2011. The world moves on when all the men get busted and test clean after “doing the time”
          Even getting into the HOF!

Not for Cyborg though. She popped for winny V too. Not hgh or Testosterone like some others. Get over it, or go watch golf.

    • youpayyouplay

Grow up groin it’s in every sport have you ever used it are do you just talk out your ass if more people out there would use steroids and exercise instead of drowning there problems with pharmacutical drugs prescribed by doctors for there so called problems this would be a more productive world

    • capoeiraike .

If you think most fighters are clean you’re clueless. Keep hating tho

    • TheCerealKiller

She has passed a ton of random tests over the past few years. She does look a lot smaller now tho.

    • earlsimmons

LOL “anyone who believe’s”….well shes passed the drug tests so what else am i to believe? I guess anyone “I can’t stand” i will just assume are on the roids but somehow manage to pass the tests. letting emotions get in the way of facts perfect example of liberalism. Until you have some proof that the drug tests are covered up or she is getting around them keep being salty.

  • edawg90 .

Because of her past every win should be suspect…She is even built like a dude so I’d have her sorry ass tested every day because she is putting people’s lives on the line.

    • David

      Dana. ….Ronda……is that you?????

Cyborg agreed to daily Olympic style testing for her entire training camp for a Ronda fight…. It still wasn’t good enough.

  • Stephen Quadros

Has it ever had a gender test?

    • shakejunt

      sick burn bro. very original

  • RondazFat

Fat @ss Ronda should lose weight and drop down to 145 to fight Chris…LOL

    • Dale Phillips

She doesn’t have the courage to fight Cyborg.

      • kenneth schwartz

Maybe not, but she has the courage to make out with the never annoying Ms. Jane Lynch in the remake of the all “female” Broke Back Mountain

      • Pistol_Pablo

Why are you fixated on Rousey? She lost. Holm is the champ now.
Let it go. Let it go.

  • theyyy

The reason people don’t like Cyborg is because:
    1) Got busted for roids
    2) Too obvious that she abused them.

I ‘m sure she isn’t the only female fighter that has used them, but she used them to the point that she lost the feminine look.

    • capoeiraike .

So she’s not attractive therefore “steroids” awesome “logic”. Meanwhie Sonnen gets multiple title shots after being busted numerous times. Smh

      • theyyy

No, that’s not what I am saying. Furthermore, what does Chael have to do with this conversation?

      • Pistol_Pablo

Well Sonnen shouldn’t get multiple title shots. That’s unfair and wrong for the sport.
The saying “two wrongs don’t make a right” applies here. Why ruin the sport more by overlooking all steroid usage?
What’s logical is to be suspicious of a fighter that tested positive in their recent past. It’s illogical to know they did and then act as if they never did and then to criticize the doubters who believe she might still be using. Her choice to use steroids in the recent past led fans to be suspicious of her today. It’s not as if we have no reason to be suspicious.

        • earlsimmons

But your wrong LOL you dont have a reason to be suspicious. If shes on the roids and been tested and passed then the tests are also inadequate or false or someone is covering them up. So while that could be true your really reaching on this one because of your own feeling for her. you dont like here therefore your making up some lame theory that she is or could be juicing even though the evidence proves you wrong. Occams razor bro cuz the simple answer is she is clean until proven otherwise. Get over it broseph.

        • capoeiraike .

Uh no, what’s logical is not speculating without reason. She popped once and has since not popped at all. That’ why we have testing. If she passes her tests you should have no reason to talk baseless chit or assume anything. Ronda has done drugs in the past, it’s a known fact, is it rational to assume she still does tho? Even though she’s never failed a drug test? Fact is if she was hot no one would give a chit about her use just like no one gives a chit about most of the male users. If she was marketable the UFC would overlook that failed test.

    • David

If you didn’t know Ronda and saw her you would think she was a juicer.

      True story, when Ronda was on Kimmel, my wife walks in and says ;

“That’s the roid freak they want Ronda to fight?”

It took me a few minutes of trying to prove it was Rousey because i was laughing mao until I realized I could just rewind her intro!! It was the weekend buzz xD Anyway…. Google “Ronda Rousey Huge” and see what my girls first impression of Ronda was. To this day she believes Ronda is on the gear. Her body changed so much from her Olympic days.

  • Billy Bad.A

Why does everyone still beat up on Cris for her steriod abuse? She got caught, paid her dues and is tested regularly more than most other fighters be it male or female. She is a true fighter, unlike the UFC loud mouth ex champion that got her ass handed to her by the first real competitor of her career!

    • Beanagespan

Truthfully? Because people feel better about themselves when they can go online and judge/condemn someone for something – especially someone famous – while conveniently ignoring all the lame things that they do in their own lives. Its kind of pathetic.

      • Dale Phillips

        Well said.

        • Pistol_Pablo

The Justino lovers are out in force today. She’s proving the steroids are working.

          • capoeiraike .

You’re proving the petty irrational hers still exist. The jelly hateraid is working.

          • Pistol_Pablo

            Irrational???
She tested positive for steroids in the past. That FACT alone is reason to be suspicious. But then you look at her and that also raises suspicions.
It’s more irrational to criticize the doubters like me than to believe she is still using.

          • earlsimmons

You can doubt all you want but shes passed her tests since and thats a FACT so your picking and choosing facts you want to believe. unfortunately for you the FACTS your using are old. Its more irrational to use old events to judge someone when their are new facts that prove the old ones wrong.

          • capoeiraike .

So she tested positive ONCE the years ago in the past for a cutting agent and that makes it rational to assume she’s still using to this day? Even though she’s passed every test that’s been thrown her way? Sorry that makes no sense whatsoever. People who are habitual users tend to pop multiple times. Whats lame and irrational is to just assume someone is using because they used n the past. You state it as fact yet you haven’t the slightest clue what you’re talking about.

    • Pistol_Pablo

Why aren’t you suspicious? She has a history of cheating. Just b/c she hasn’t tested positive since then doesn’t mean she isn’t still using. Lance Armstrong was arguably the biggest doper of them all and he tested “clean” for years. Don’t be naïve and gullible.

      • capoeiraike .

She gets tested more than most fighters and WANTED WADA style random testing. She gt fought ONCE for a cutting agent, let it go. Unless you’re all willing to demonize all the fighters in the UFC who have cheated much worse yet for some odd reason seem to get passes.

        • Don Lee

Actually Ronda has been tested twice as much as Cyborg.

          • Billy Bad.A

I would like to see the proof?? I would guess that is some kind of trumped up bs you’re making up!

          • Don Lee

Tried to post a couple links but it won’t let me. Google Ronda Rousey tested more than Cyborg and it will come up.

          • Billy Bad.A

Sorry Don but I couldn’t find anything factual on the web. I noticed in another post that you stated Rousey was tested in “2015” more than Cris. So where exactly are you getting your info from?

          • Don Lee

UFC Champ, Ronda Rousey who recently claimed to be against drug testing for marijuana, has been noted as the most drug tested MMA fighter thus far.

            Like Us on Facebook

Considering the fact that Rousey is UFC’s biggest fighter, who’s obviously captivated the entire country, the possibility of Rousey failing a drug test would be a huge blow to the UFC and the MMA.

This is probably why the USADA is now doing everything they can to make sure she’s 100% clean all the time. (It may also be because of her “controversial” stand against being tested for marijuana).

According to National Sun Times, the organization has tested Rousey not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, but five times since July, which was when the USADA implemented their new drug testing policy. She’s been tested more than any other UFC fighter.

Apparently, as reported by Larry Brown Sports, the USADA tested Rousey’s most recent opponent, Bethe Correia only four times. While Cris Cyborg, who was called out for using steroids after a Strikeforce title defense in 2011, has only been tested twice. Rousey has also been tested twice as often as fighters like Conor McGregor, Jose Aldo and Daniel Cormier.

          • capoeiraike .

Wouldn’t the testing procedures be similar? Why would Ronda get tested more than Cyborg? That make no sense? I heard because of Cyborg’s failed test that she was tested more frequently than other fighters.

      • Billy Bad.A

Why are you so suspicious??? She has admitted her guilt, she’s been tested more than any other fighter,….I’m pretty sure male or female…and she has put in the work and training to be the best female mma fighter in the world and for pound for pound fighter I believe she is at the top. I still don’t understand why everyone wants to beat her down so much? Could it be because she is not a loud mouth glamour queen who’s Dana White’s payday queen? Stop being so damn judgmental, she paid her dues and should receive the respect she deserves as a top notch fighter!

        • Pistol_Pablo

It’s more reasonable to be suspicious about a fighter who tested positive for steroid use in their past than to believe that she doesn’t use anymore. You Justino lovers act as if she never tested positive for steroid usage. It makes more sense to be suspicious than not. It’s amazing how your feelings supersede your rational thinking.
Testing “clean” doesn’t mean she still isn’t using. Look at Lance Armstrong. He was tested more or just as much as any other cyclist in his sport for years and he tested “clean”. He adamantly denied that he was “clean” to the point that you couldn’t help believe him. So just b/c a fighter like Justino passes testing doesn’t mean she isn’t still using.

          • David

Just because any fighter claims they are clean means nothing. Lance and Ronda are a lot alike being so against the juice and going on and on about being clean….

Cyborg has had a microscope on her as part of her post suspension. No women care, except Ronda, because they do what fighters do…. fight whoever the powers that be say are eligible. Cyborg is eligible.

      • earlsimmons

Just b/c she hasn’t tested positive since then doesn’t mean she isn’t using still….well then every fighter could be on it and hasnt been caught yet so lets be suspicious of them all.

      • unclejack

ANYONE can be on juice. Just because it is possible, it doesn’t mean she is. If you are accusing her of something, it’s your job to prove it. Well, do you have any proof? Didn’t think so…

    • theyyy

I don’t beat up on Cyborg. I actually think she is an awesome fighter. However, if you are going to juice and get huge, stay in your own weight class, or move down. Cyborg’s “come chase me” this is showing her diva attitude. Unlike Conor who goes to the other person’s weight class. You want their title, then move to their weight class.

  • Olde Rose

A bank robber, having purloined many millions and deposited that booty in the Caymans, was lately apprehended. If he proves, over the next two years, that he has “gone straight;” is it the contention of you Cyborg enablers that he should again have all rights/remedies of a law-abiding citizen, permitted to enjoy his cache of cash, and be eligible to hold office as Secretary of the Treasury? What about forcing him to disgorge all of his ill-gotten gains? What about forcing Da ‘Borg to undergo a regimen of estrogen and other feminine hormones, to reverse the musculature/manliness illicitly obtained, IF she wishes to again profit from competing as a femme? Hello? Hello? Operator, I’ve been cut off. HELLO?!

    • David

Everytime you tune in to pro sports you are cheering for “cheaters” ESPECIALLY if you are a long time mma fan.

Look at pro sports, guys in their late 20’s and we’ll into their 30s recovering from body tears, breaks and surgeries as fast as teenagers! Even old time baseball’s used meth to keep up on those long road trips. Peds are a massive part of sports. Only some are vilified for it.

Usually the loudest athletes against them are the biggest users…i.e. L.Armstrong. Makes you wonder about Rousey too. When she was younger she said herself she developed an eating disorder trying to maintain 154, in hardcore Olympic training. Now she’s older, more muscular, and supposedly walks around at 150????

      Does not compute

  • youpayyouplay

Cyborg is awesom love to see load mouth Rousey fight her she is such a bad sportsman cyborg would clean her clock

    • Don Lee

How can you even take Cyborg seriously when she fights cans like this Russian?

  • Dale Phillips

Did anyone expect anything different in this fight? Cyborg is the baddest female MMA fighter there is & that is why Dana and Rousey ducked her for so long. Now that Cyborg’s friend Holly Holm handed Rousey a sound beat down and knockout everyone knows that loudmouth Rousey was never even a threat to Cyborg which is why she ran for years.

    • Pistol_Pablo

      The steroids are working.

    • White_Devil

      A badass can crusher.

    • Don Lee

Easy to look like a world beater against the likes of what she is facing. Cyborg is way over rated and her record is a joke.

  • YES YES YES NO NO NO

No big surprise there. So can we stop wasting everyone’s time already and set up a Cyborg/HH fight? We all know Tate is going to be destroyed by HH; so that fight will be as pointless as this one was. Get it done already.

  • capoeiraike .

I feel so bad for Cyborg. If She as pretty as Carano or Ronda there would be a 145 lb division in the UFC and she would be the face of it. She’s the best female MMA fighter in the world and has no place in the best MMA promotion, SMFH.

    • Barre McNiven

      So true

      • Don Lee

        Not

    • Don Lee

She probably was nice looking before she mangled her looks with PEDS. Even if she was good looking there still wouldn’t be a 145 division in the UFC because there is zero talent. They had to go to the far reaches of the earth to dredge this Russian up. Her stand up made Katie Castro look like JJ.

      • capoeiraike .

Or she could just be not attractive and PED’s had nothing to do with it. Ive seen pics of her early on and she always had that big jaw. Some women just have manly jaws, like RUmer Willis. Likewise I have seen chicks like Ashlee Evens Smith who are known users but aren’t don’t have that masculine look.

It wouldn’t matter if the 145 div is weak as long as they had one star that’s what they would prefer. Just like the Bantamweights, apart from Holly Ronda was essentially a star amongst bums. Ronda destroyed all comers until she stepped in with a seasoned champion caliber fighter. In strike force before Ronda came 145 was THE div in WMMA because of Carano.

        • Don Lee

145 is beyond weak. At 135 you had other fighters to build around such as Tate, Zingano, Kaufman, Mcmann and Nunes. At 145 there is Cyborg and then absolutely no one else. And I mean no one.

  • TheCerealKiller

    And still nobody cares.

    • unclejack

50 comments already. So pretty many cares, like it or not buddy…

    • shakejunt

      you cared enough to comment.

  • White_Devil

Shes like a female Fedor, only fights cans and hand picked nobodys.

    • earlsimmons

      Or like RR

      • Levon Anderson

Ronda was tested 5 times in 2015 and Cyborg was test 4 times in 2015 so I think it’s safe to say they have both been tested multiple times by the USADA

    • shakejunt

      who should she be fighting?

      • Don Lee

That’s what I’m asking. How bout making 135 for some fun matchups in the UFC? No we can’t have that. That would require giving up the PEDS.

        • shakejunt

she’s a zuffa employee which means she’s under the new testing program. until she pops, your accusations are based on a singular event 5 years ago. why is it so hard to believe that someone who walks around at 180 wouldn’t be able to make 135? women have a harder time losing weight.

          • Don Lee

She’s not tested as often as the fighters in the UFC. Ronda was tested more times in 2015 than Cyborg.

          • Levon Anderson

You do know that she is under contract with the UFC so she is subject to all the same tests as everyone else.

          • shakejunt

seeing as ronda was one of the most tested fighters of 2015, i think that’s a really easy blanket statement to make about anyone.

  • David

    Truth.

  • Levon Anderson

She is a wrecking machine and the UFC is missing out on promoting her…she is the “Mike Tyson” of WMMA you tune in to see her destroy her opponents.

    • Don Lee

Not much the UFC can do if she refuses to drop the roids and make 135.

      • shakejunt

“refuses” or can’t? why is it that all other athletes are told “fight at your normal weight,” but cyborg HAS to drop? of course she won’t be in the ufc if she can’t make 135, but it’s ridiculous to think that she simply doesn’t want to.

        • Don Lee

Obvious that she doesn’t want to. So who will she fight next? Megan Anderson? Katie Castro? Cyborg will soon be forgotten fighting girls like this Russian.

          • shakejunt

you still failed to answer my question about fighting at normal weight.

yes she will fight obscure girls, but who is she supposed to fight? you’re acting like she’s hiding.

          • Don Lee

That’s because there is nothing normal about Cyborg or her weight. Yea she’s hiding. She can stay in Invicta fighting cream puffs a couple times a year and make 200 grand. Not a bad gig.

          • shakejunt

again you deflected the question. why are guys like poirier and rumble applauded for moving up to a more natural weightclass, but cyborg HAS to come down?

the only fight i see for her is a catchweight with evinger and that’s definitely a legitimate opponent.

          • Don Lee

I love Evinger but she couldn’t make it into the TUF house. Again 145 is only Cyborg’s “normal” weight because she is built up with PEDS. If Cyborg is going to fight at her alleged normal weight then she should be fighting at 160 or 170.

          • Levon Anderson

I think it’s pretty safe to say that none of the women at 135 or 145 fight at their normal walking around weight……Ronda has said she walks around about about 155 and cuts to 135.

          • Don Lee

No fighter fights at their walk around weight. That’s how the fight game works.

          • shakejunt

not exactly true. livia souza, king mo, most hw’s, frankie edgar did for a long time, bj penn did. it’s overwhelmingly a weight cutting contest, but it has been done before and at a very high level.

          • shakejunt

i feel like tonya is having a bit of a career resurgence. could just be her level of competition, but i definitely feel like she’s better than she showed on tuf. Pennington was an unknown at that point and she obviously has very decent chokes. i’m looking at it as tonya underestimated her and wouldn’t be as reckless in a rematch.

as far as cyborg, let’s just end that conversation and call it a moot point because we’re just going around in circles.

      • Levon Anderson

Well the UFC has shown that they can add more weight classes they only had 135 at one time and now they have 115 so why not add 145.

        • Don Lee

Who would you put in the 145 division? This Russian girl was 9-1 and the best Invicta could find. Her stand up was worst than Katie Castro’s. Give me just one name other than Cyborg that you can build around. One name.

          • Levon Anderson

Julia Budd is a talented fighter on a win streak right now.

          • Don Lee

Who is signed with Bellator and lost to Ronda in 39 seconds.

          • Levon Anderson

So if Budd lost to Ronda and Budd fights at 145 then Ronda must have been at 145 when she beat her…….Hmmmm makes me wonder why Ronda dropped to 135 instead of just fighting Cyborg.

          • Don Lee

It’s common knowledge that Ronda first fought at 145 but you are new to the sport. Cyborg and Ronda were headed for a fight but Cyborg got suspended for a year for being a cheat. When Cyborg came off suspension Ronda was already in the UFC. Cyborg had her chance again but signed with Invicta instead of the UFC.

          • Levon Anderson

She really didn’t have a chance since the UFC didn’t offer a 145 division for her and that is why she went to Invicta.

          • Don Lee

Two different dietitians including the one she currently employs both say that there is no reason Cyborg can’s safely make 135.

          • Levon Anderson

For a fighter it’s not about being able to make the weight but to be able to perform after you make the weight and a 35 – 40 lb weight cut is a lot for any fighter.

          • Don Lee

Once again they both said she could make the weight and perform. One said she carries unneccessary muscle weight around. A nice way of saying she does roids.

          • Levon Anderson

And how many fights have these “dietitians” had where they had to cut that much weight so that they could make the statement that she could “perform” with that big of a weight cut?

          • Don Lee

One of the nutritionist saying this is currently employed by Cyborg.

  • theyyy

Well, two wrongs don’t make a right. I didn’t like Sonnen either. It’s obvious the guy cheats. Now…I am ok if a fighter cheats a little since everyone is doing it. However, Sonnen and a few other fighters are way over the top. Also, I don’t care if Cyborg cheats or not, but if she cheats, then she should move down in weight rather than have other fighters move up. Do you see Conor tell other fighters to move to his weight class? No. He wants the fight, so he moves to their weight class.

    • capoeiraike .

Don’t even compare Conor to Cyborg. Cyborg is a time tested and dominant champion with numerous defenses. Conor just became champ. Plus SHE IS willing to move down to 140 for a catchweight fight but Ronda didn’t want to meet her half way. Why should Cyborg who was just as much a dominant champ as Ronda have to concede 100%? Ronda should have to give a bit too, especially considering she used to fight at 145 and was way bigger than most of her opponent s at 135. Oh not too mention all the chit she talked about moving up to fight other fighters but not Cyborg. Fact is real champs test themselves, that’s why conor’s moving up, why holly would move up, why silva moved up, BJ moved up etc.

      • theyyy

“Real champions test themselves.” Really? So you’re saying Jon Jones, GSP, Chris Weidman, Robbie Lawler, RDA and not true champions because they never moved up and fought a bigger champion? Throw in Anderson as well. He fought Griffin, but never moved up to fight the champion.

        • capoeiraike .

How’d you make that leap? Real champions don’t talk massive amounts of chit about moving up and beating everyone on the planet and THEN fail to take a catchweight bout citing some BS PED excuse that NO OTHER champ ha ever used in the history of MMA. Jones WILL move up and is planning on it, Weidman also wanted a Jones super fight. GSP dodged Silva even though Diaz welcomed the challenge. Lawler and RDA are NEW champs and don’t have to move up as there are still plenty of opponents in their class. Ronda however at the time CLEANED HER DIV OUT! They were ready to make Tate 3 for F’s sake. At that point she could have easily moved up just like Silva did when he cleaned out his div. Cyborg was down for a Dec 3rd fight AT 135!! But they ducked her once again and gave her Tate instead, which then turned into Holly. Once Holly knocked Honda’s head clean off Cyborg lost interest.

Silva moved up 3 times bruh at the request of the UFC who UNLIKE with Ronda, damn near forced him to move up. Don’t even try to discredit that simply because he never fought the champ at 205. Griffin was a former champ and a HUGE 205er, as was Bonner a huge 205er who afterwords popped for PED’s.

          • theyyy

Silva NEVER moved up to fight a champion. NEVER. Griffin was a FORMER champion. As as far as Rousey is concern…do I care if she is a coward? NO! This conversation is about Cyborg and her failure to move completely to fight another champion.

          • capoeiraike .

Smh wow bro, you need to drastically work on your reading comprehension. I CLEARLY said “FORMER” champ. And that doesn’t negate AT ALL his move up as he’s one of the VERY FEW champs to even make a move up. Conor’s the first champ to do it since Silva but Conor’s simply moving to a class he’s still big for. Silva moved to a class where his opponents where clearly bigger than him 3 times, so enough said. You can stop mentioning arguably the greatest UFC fighter of all time now.

“As as far as Rousey is concern…do I care if she is a coward?”

Do I care if you care? That’s irrelevant, I’m merely sating this fact to illustrate how absurdly incorrect about Cyborg you are. You keep claiming Cyborg wasn’t willing to drop to 135 and I’m telling you that’s utter nonsense. She WAS willing to drop and would have had Ronda not cowardly picked to fight Tate for the 3rd time instead.

“This conversation is about Cyborg and her failure to move completely to fight another champion.”

And Ronda’s obvious cowardliness is the SPECIFIC reason Cyborg hasn’t come down. She hasn’t “failed”, there simply isn’t any INCENTIVE considering Ronda AND the UFC clearly didn’t want the fight. That’s not Cyborg’s fault, it’s the UFC’s fault. Stop trolling dude because you’re just painfully wrong.

          • theyyy

Cyborg had over 3 years to come to 135. Anyway, I really am not much of a Rousey fan.. If you want to call her a coward, I really don’t care. All I know is Holly would slap Cyborg around at 135. That’s all I know.

          • theyyy

BTW, you are totally mistaken if you think I would approve of Rousey calling out smaller fighters to move up. I would definitely be against that.

          • theyyy

The proof is in the pudding. Cyborg was told by Dana that he would make the fight happen at 135 years ago. Did Cyborg drop? No. And now Cyborg could drop to 135 to fight Holm, but she won’t. So, anyway I am glad you are convinced that she is willing to drop. However, I see her just talking about it, and never doing it. When she drops to 135, I will apologize. Until then, nope.

          • theyyy

And btw, I know what you’re going to say. Holm is not enough incentive to drop to 135 for…lol. Uhhh huh. Well again, we all have our own opinion. Much like Conor being big for lightweight (in your opinion)….well it’s nothing for Conor to drop even more to featherweight, but Cyborg being big for featherweight, can’t drop to bantamweight 135 to fight Holm. Double standard. But anyway, you are entitled to your opinion. Good luck sir.

          • theyyy

IN SUMMARY – When Cyborg actually drops to bantamweight and fights the CHAMPION (not former champion like Silva), I will respect that 100%. Talking about it doesn’t impress me. Calling out smaller fighters to move up doesn’t impress me. You have made your points, but until I actually see her do it, I’m not impressed.

          • theyyy

IN SUMMARY (part 2) – And also, no…I am NOT sticking up for Rousey. WHOEVER calls out another fighter should do the moving. So IF Rousey was calling out Cyborg, she should move. Plain and simple.

      • theyyy

Agreed. Conor can’t be compared to Cyborg. Conor goes after and MOVES to his opponents weight class. Cyborg calls out smaller fighters to come to her…lol.

        • capoeiraike .

Lmfao that’s Pretty ironic considering Conor ran to FW after losing to Duffy at LW then spent his entire UFC career dropping an unusually enormous amount of weight to beat up guys half his size. Conor moving to LW is him simply moving to his proper class. Conor could fight at WW if he wanted and he still wouldn’t be that undersized.

Oh and let’s not forget that the only reason Cyborg called Honda out was because Honda kept relentlessly talking chit bout her. If Cyborg’s game was to beat up smaller opponents she’d pull the Honda and Conor routine and cut the weight. So , uh, NEXT!

          • theyyy

Again, you are proving my point. Conor CUT WEIGHT, which is what cyborg should do. If Conor can do it, so can Cyborg.

          • capoeiraike .

A, Conor was never in a position to dictate terms up until recently. Cyborg is arguably the best female fighter in the world and a more dominant champ than Ronda. She shouldn’t have to concede 100%. Ronda should have to compromise some too as It was an issue of ego. But unfortunately Ronda had all the leverage and was obviously content just talking about all the bigger opponents and men she could beat up while getting served smaller cans in the cage.

B, SHE WAS WILLING TO CUT WEIGHT! Ronda and the UFC didn’t want the fight tho. After trying to get Ronda at 140 Cyborg made it public that she wanted Ronda in Dec AT 135 and they gave Ronda Tate instead. There’s no way in hell Cyborg is going to cut weight with no bout agreement signed considering how flip floppy Dana is. Yet they demanded she cut before they even agree to a fight. This is absurdly unprecedented and a blatant tactic to avoid Cyborg by keeping her in an obvious limbo of doubt. So it’s not a matter of she can’t do it, which seems to be your point, but rather why try with no deal signed when Dana could just pull the rug from under her just like he did Tate? Holly has stated numerous times that she’d gladly fight Cyborg at whatever weight. Tate has said she would fight her at 140. Ronda doesn’t have that same drive in her.

          • theyyy

Cyborg is a poor man’s McGregor by still demanding that her opponents move up half way. One day, maybe Cyborg will be like Conor and move TOTALLY to an established weight class.

          • capoeiraike .

“Cyborg is a poor man’s McGregor by still demanding that her opponents move up half way.”

Smh that makes zero sense. So what is Ronda then demanding that her opponents move ALL the way down? At least keep your petty, irrational hate even across the board. Don’t single out Cyborg when she was at least WILLING to concede half way. And bro PLEASE work on your reading comprehension. I’ll write this again so maybe you’ll actually grasp it this time. CYBORG WANTED A DEC FIGHT AT135! So their goes your entire lame argument. She wanted 135 but the UFC in obvious “protect Ronda” mode wanted NO PART of Cyborg at ANY weight.

“One day, maybe Cyborg will be like Conor and move TOTALLY to an established weight class.”

Uh last I checked 145 is an established weight class so maybe one day that comment will actually make sense. And AGAIN, had Ronda and the UFC not DUCKED Cyborg for a Dec fight she’d be at 135.

And one day maybe Ronda will stop ducking and actually do what multiple other champs in her position have done and actually test themselves. Oh wait she got head kicked KO’d into the next universe, never mind I guess it’s on to Hollywood where she can display some more of her beyond wooden acting. I’m sure you’ll have your Roadhouse remake ticket preordered lol. I’m done.

          • theyyy

BTW, Cyborg admitted that she could make 135, but she said she wouldn’t be at her best. As if Ronda’s best would be at 140…lol. No thanks…I’m not tooting the horn or Cyborg. Yes, she is a good fighter and all, but not as great as you say. She is really too big for 145, but cuts a lot to get there. Could she make 135? Yes, but she wouldn’t beat Holm at 135 and pretty much admitted that. She isn’t like Conor who moves up the entire weight class.

          • capoeiraike .

You’re beyond absurd! Ronda began her MMA career at 145! Where she was just a dominant. So to assume she wouldn’t be at her best makes no sense. Logic speaking she’d probably be better because she has to cut a lot of weight too. Ronda had no problem taking a fight with Carano at 145, Ali at whatever weight etc but it’s “lol no thanks” for Cyborg at 140?? That’ the most unprecedented cowardly chit ever lol.

“Yes, she is a good fighter and all, but not as great as you say.”

Lmfao really? Who’s “better”? Cyborg would eat the entire UFC roster. The ONLY fighter that would stand a chance is Holly and that’s a stretch.

“She is really too big for 145, but cuts a lot to get there.”

Funny how you rag on her but love conor who cuts an enormous amount of weight too. Not her fault considering that’s the highest class they offer.

” Could she make 135? Yes, but she wouldn’t beat Holm at 135 and pretty much admitted that. ”

Stating she wouldn’t be at her best at a lower weight in NO WAY is an admission that she would “lose” to anyone at a lower weight so let’s stop the ridiculous leaps in logic. If Holly becomes the type of draw Ronda was Cyborg may be intereted in dropping weight. Thing is though is she probvably won’t have to seeing as though UNLIKE Honda, Holly isn’t a complete and utter coward and is more than willing to compromise in order to actually challenge herself.

“She isn’t like Conor who moves up the entire weight class.”

Considering he started in the incorrect weight class that’s literally saying nothing. All Conor did was move to his proper class. When he move to Welter Weight you may have a point, until then you should stop bringing up the irrelevancy of conor.

          • theyyy

Well, you can say what you want. Bottom line is Cyborg will not move out of her weight class and wants other to move to her. Conor McGregor didn’t ask others to move to him. He is moving to them. Bottom line. End of story.

          • capoeiraike .

Obviously i can say what I want, as can you. The difference between us however is what I’m saying actually makes sense.

“Bottom line is Cyborg will not move out of her weight class and wants other to move to her.”

Bottom line is either you can’t read or you’re beyond delusion because this simply isn’t true, as I’ve already explained in deal multiple times now.

” McGregor didn’t ask others to move to him. He is moving to them. Bottom line. End of story.”

Bottom line, Conor was never in a position to make such requests and he started in a class he shouldn’t have been in anyways. And AGAIN! Cyborg WAS willing to move but Ronda didn’t want it. Are you seriously this dense that you can’t see the blatant contradiction in what you’re saying? You’re giving Cyborg chit for making demands yet you’re not holding Ronda to the same standard, EVEN THOUGH Cyborg was willing to concede to her demands. Ronda Slo would not move out of her weight cal and expected Cyborg to come to her and when Cyborg finally agreed Ronda went running. What part of this is still confusing you because this should have ended the argument 5 comments ago. You’re clearly one of those trolls who keeps arguing despite blatantly being wrong. Its ok to admit when you’re wrong dude, trying to save face at any cost isn’t a good look.

          • theyyy

If Ronda is calling Cyborg out she should move like Conor is. However, if Cyborg is calling Rousey out, she should move. It’s really that simple. Say what you want about Conor, REGARDLESS OF WHAT POSITION…he hunts them down, unlike Cyborg.

  • Don Lee

This girl’s stand up was pathetic. I’d say Megan Anderson who is 1-1 in Invicta will be next. They might get Katie Castro who at least has better stand up than this Russian.

    • youpayyouplay

Invicta is owned by UFC it would not be a stretch to put a 145 class for women and cyborg has been clean for seven years the only dope that’s going around is you quit sounding so stupid steroids have been in every sport for 50 plus years and you can beat the test with a little knowledge quit being so naive

      • Don Lee

Actually Zuffa does not own Invicta. Yes it is a stretch to build a 145 division. Name me one other fight at 145 besides Cyborg that you could build around.

  • ernesto chavez

Ms. Justino should fight at 135 Lbs., for her legacy and to make tons of money. After she cleans out the division, she can go back up and control at 145 until she retires. No doubt will remain as to who was the best female MMA fighter ever.
