- HARDY WINS, KIKUCHI FALTERS AT CAGE FORCE

Yoshiyuki Yoshida eliminated former Shooto Champion Akira Kikuchi from the Cage Force tournament with a TKO victory in the first round. The fight was stopped due to strikes. With the win, Yoshida remains undefeated after five GCM events.

Hiroyuki Takaya rebounded from a loss with a knockout victory over Jarrod Card. The fight marked Takaya’s return to his natural weight of 145 pounds.

2005 Shooto Featherweight Rookie Champion Takeya Mizugaki got back on the winning track with a dominating decision over SK Absolute’s Kentaro Imaizumi. Mizugaki recently fought Masakatsu Ueda to a draw at Shooto – Back to our Roots 4 in July.

In the main event, Koutetsu Boku earned a split decision over Eiji Ishikawa. The Killer Bee fighter will face the winner between Artur Oumakhanov and Tomonari Kanomata, a match that will later take place in October due to Oumakhanov’s recent loss at K-1 Hero’s 9.
