you can’t play games in the octagon..ha

    • Dragon Kid

He did it against Bonnar & Griffin (coming off his LHW title loss) and made them look like lightweights even when they were drugged up as well.

i dont think silva is gonna come in clowning so hard this time so i think if it stays on the feet silva wins by t/ko.

    • Manuel Lopez

Silva will get knocked out if it stays on the feet. Silva will get submitted if the fight goes to the ground where Weidman can take Silva at will. Look, Silva was knocked out by Weidman and that weighs heavily in Silva’s psyche. He can come to the ring all business, Weidman is even more business in there, he’s younger, smarter, faster and the more complete fighter and that’s why he’s the champ now.

i dont need a lecture or anybody trying to alter my opinion, im aware of everything you just said except for the silvas psyche thing cuz i dont think silva will come in effected mentally at all. by your logic silva shouldnt even show up and lets be serious here silva has the better stand up.

You’re right, he’s more well rounded, Weidman is a jack-of-all-trades and king at NONE of them. His vulnerabilities are his perceived strengths. Weidman is younger, and his physicality will be in tact, but his mind will be tested more than Silva’s whose experiences reaches far beyond any little kiddie kingdom. We all know Silva wouldn’t have taken the fight if he didn’t plan to show up prepared and focused, and that’s what Weidman will be worried about.

Ill see you back here Dec 28th fool!! Hopefully mommy lets you stay up late to watch it!!

      • Jacob K

he is a more well rounded mixed martial artist modern day. I don’t think hes faster or smarter when it comes to cage IQ, strike speed, and reaction time. Anderson is one of the best unarmed warriors in human history. chris Weidman is a guy from new York who is 10-0. he is the champ but he is not a legend. you can flook an arrogant legend, but you cant beat a focused legend.

        • Ron Bidelman Jr.

Probably one of the dumbest replys ive read. If you dont think hes focused in every fight then go back to watching checkers!!

          • Jacob K

You make weidman fans look terrible. It is not one of the dumbest replies you’ve ever read because you didn’t read it. If you did you would see I said nothing about Chris being unfocused. Go watch college football bro.

          • Ron Bidelman Jr.

And again another dumbfk comment. Reread ur last sentence then reread my comment that talked of Silvas focus not weidmans dipshit. Hopefully mommy doesn’t let you stay up to watch the next fight. It’ll keep your stupidity to a minimal.

  • Big Tuna

I’m done with Silva and all of his disrespect

  • p3ezy

yeah silva clowned around and got ktfo for it. but you cant ignore how flat footed silva made weidman look. I do think weidman has a chance to repeat the win, but my money is all on silva coming out like he did against leben and returning the favor

  • Nash

This is a very interesting rematch. The first match Silva acted like he could care less whether he won or lost. If he shows up motivated and focused we could see Weidman become another highlight reel victim. If he isn’t, Weidman can repeat the win and the silva era is over. I predict Silva by tko stoppage in round 3.

    • Ron Bidelman Jr.

Acted?? Hes been doing this his whole career?? This time hes met his match. Chris is gonna put the has been into retirement. Period

How is he a has been when this is his first loss ever in the UFC? The guy not only was champion since his second fight but went up in weight three times.

  • Dragon Kid

By far one of the funniest/silliest KOs I’ve seen in a while.

Judges may have been terrible, but they had no chance to ruin this fight with a bad decision. Weidman came to finish.

I was live in attendance; first time re-watching after that night. Thanks for posting this (I do not regularly check UFC’s website).

Yes Silva has acted like this many times before with his hands down trying to play mind games butt his time he went to far. This wasn’t a tactic, this was just plain acting silly, shaking his leg, acting like he was hurt. He went beyond what he’s done in the past in this fight and he paid for it big time. Anderson will come back stronger in this fight but so will Weidman. If anything Chris is going to be more dangerous because he’ll want to prove it wasn’t a lucky punch. He beat Silva standing when he already had the advantage in wrestling so it’s going to be a tough night for both fighters. If Weidman wins he has a long list of guys to fight.

  • Rexeus

Silva invented the silly walk, and got K.O:ed.

  • kris waldron

wont last a round anderson ko kick first round

  • julian moran

It’s hard to enjoy the fight with non stop mmaweekly ads playing in the background.
