Full Fight Flashback: Anderson Silva TKOs Forrest Griffin at UFC 101

After successfully defending his title six times, UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva accepted a fight at 205-pounds against former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin at UFC 101. Silva returns from a year off due to injury to take on Nick Diaz at UFC 183 on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas.

    Who wants to watch this again? Forrest was defeated and deflated before the first punch was even thrown. He beat himself and wanted an out. He got one in the worst possible way. Might have even taken a dive.

    It’s a humiliating showing and shame on the UFC for highlighting it again.

    I remember watching this via some stream back in the days, at around 4-5am in the morning here in Europe. Shortly after the fight started, the stream went off. When I found another one, Goldie was just saying “It is all over” and Rogan just couldn’t believe what happened. I thought Silva pulled out some Mortal Kombat stuff, only later I saw how embarrassing Forrest’s performance was.
