Ian Freeman is out for his fight against Forrest Griffin at UFC 55. The fight is called off due to a freak accident, which was not MMA related.

Freeman had an accident on his horse that not only will keep him away from this upcoming fight in the UFC but it looks as though Freeman will retire from the sport of MMA.

Freeman jumps horses in his spare time and had an accident before with the horses. His previous accident before this latest mishap, occurred when he tore cartilage in his chest when he was thrown from his horse.

It now appears that he re-injured his chest and may have the same injury he had a year ago. In either case Freeman is definitely out against Forrest Griffin.

UFC Veteran Elvis Sinosic will return to the UFC to face Griffin. Sinosic’s biggest win of his career was at UFC 30 against Jeremy Horn. Elvis has been in the Octagon on multiple occasions losing to Evan Tanner, Babalu Sobral and Tito Ortiz.
