Francisco Rivera and Alex Caceres Face Off at UFC New Orleans

Eleventh-ranked bantamweight Francisco Rivera faces fifteenth-ranked Alex Caceres at UFC Fight Night 68 in New Orleans on June 6. UFC officials announced the new bout on Tuesday.

Francisco-Rivera-UFC-181-w-750Rivera (10-4, 1 NC) hopes to bounce back from successive losses to contenders Takeya Mizugaki and Urijah Faber. The bout will mark Rivera’s seventh fight inside the Octagon.

Caceres (10-7, 1 NC) is also on a two-fight skid, losing to Faber and Masanori Kanehara in his two most recent bouts. The Ultimate Fighter 12 alum hopes to kick off 2015 with a win.

UFC Fight Night 68: Cormier vs. Bader takes place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on June 6. Light heavyweight contenders Daniel Cormier (15-1) and Ryan Bader (19-4) headline the fight card.
