In a battle of two former UFC fighters, Dave Branch will meet Jeremy May in a middleweight bout in the co-main event of the upcoming Shark Fights 15 show on May 27.
The promotion announced the new bout on Monday.
Dave Branch (8-2) made his way to the UFC with an undefeated record coming out of Renzo Gracie’s academy in New York City. During his time with the promotion, Branch went 2-2 but following a loss to Rousimar Palhares in March, he was released.
Now he’s looking to bounce back by taking out a former ‘Ultimate Fighter’ competitor in May.
Jeremy May (9-7) was one of the more controversial competitors during his time on the 7th season of the ‘Ultimate Fighter’, but he definitely made a name for himself.
Now looking to build on his last two wins in a row, May will look to make it three for three when he faces Branch in the co-main event of Shark Fights in New Mexico.
The Shark Fights 15 card takes place on May 27 at the Santa Ana Center in New Mexico, and will also feature a main event between Joey Villasenor and Chris Camozzi.
