Former “Ultimate Fighter” bad boy Jamie Yager will make his welterweight debut at the Tachi Palace Fights show on May 6 against Alan Jouban.
Tachi Palace Fights officials notified MMAWeekly.com of the match-up on Friday.
Yager, who competed on the 11th season of the “Ultimate Fighter” reality show, made only one appearance in the UFC after the show ended, but lost in a fight against former housemate Rich Attonito.
Yager then went on to fight in the Warrior’s Cage show in January, submitting Marcus Gaines in the first round of their match-up. This fight will mark Yager’s first trip to 170lbs after fighting in the UFC at middleweight.
Alan Jouban returns in May after knocking out Kyle Griffin, brother of UFC fighter Tyson Griffin, in only :15 seconds in their fight at Tachi Palace Fights earlier this month.
The card will take place on Friday May 6 from the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in California.
