I’d like to see Serra fight again.
He took a lot of flak for giving Matt Hughes down the road, but as it turned out, Matt Hughes really is some kind of azshat. Just like Serra was telling us. We just held Matt in to high regard to believe it at the time. Myself included.
In his fight against Hughs he lost in pts, but wasn’t really in any danger of being subed or knocked out. And Matt wasn’t getting the better of Serra as the fight went on. It was the other way around. I think if that was a 5 round fight, Serra would have pulled off a victory in the 5th without it going to the judges.
So I’d like to see him back, but I think he belongs in the LW division.
