Kit Cope, a mainstay on MMAWeekly Radio, battled “Razor” Rob McCullough for the WEC Lightweight crown this past Saturday night. Unfortunately, he not only lost the bout, but was also injured in the process. He joins MMAWeekly’s Damon & Jeff tonight to discuss the fight and his injury.

Thursday night, the Ultimate Fighting Championship presents another live fight special on Spike TV. Both Spencer Fisher and Clay Guida face their next challenges as part of the UFC Fight Night card from Hollywood, Fla.

Fisher is 10-1 over his last eleven fights and 19-2 overall. In Hermes Franca, who went and undefeated 7-0 in 2006, Fisher faces one of his most important challenges yet since entering the UFC. The winner will take an important step towards contending for Sean Sherk’s UFC Lightweight Championship.

Guida stormed into national attention when he dominated Josh Thomson to win the Strikeforce Lightweight belt. He defeated Justin James, a talented fighter out of the Midwest, in his UFC debut. Guida’s opponent on Thursday is Din Thomas, an American Top Team fighter that made his return to the UFC after more than three years as part of Ultimate Fighter 4: The Comeback. As Thomas looks to re-establish himself as a contender in the lightweight division, Guida is attempting not only to stop Thomas, but establish himself as a contender.

All three – Kit Cope, Spencer Fisher, and Clay Guida – join MMAWeekly Radio live tonight at 6pm PT / 9pm ET. If you can’t catch the show live, you can sign up for an MMAWeekly Premium Membership for just 5 bucks a month for complete access to the Radio Archives and the entire MMAWeekly TV Video Library.
