Final Gate and Attendance Numbers for UFC 143

The final gate and attendance numbers for UFC 143: Diaz vs Condit have come back courtesy of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The event sold 6,727 tickets with 2,288 tickets comped. 751 total tickets remained for the event held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The total attendance was 9,015 based on tickets.

The total gate for the event was $2,389,975, which matches the UFC’s number of 2.3 million for the gate they announced on the night of the event.

    That works out to roughly $340 a ticket. I find it interesting that as mma is kind of the new sport on the block so to speak. It also seems to be one of the most exspensive.

      Vegas is the most expensive place you can watch a UFC fight. In 2006, we paid face value $500 a ticket for 15th row seats at the MGM Grand for Liddell-Ortiz II. Paid a $1000 for Liddell-Rampage 7th row seats at MGM. Paid $275 face value for 4th row seats at UFC Fight Night in Seattle last year.

        I think one could argue that the last row of those 2 fights you mentioned should be worth more than the 1st row of any fight night there’s ever been.
