Few TUF 12 Finale Medical Suspensions Doled Out by NSAC

The Nevada State Athletic Commission on Monday released medical suspensions for “The Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck” finale, featuring Michael Johnson vs. Jonathan Brookins, at The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas.

Please note that multiple suspensions to an individual are served concurrently.

Below are the suspensions following the event:

– Jonathan Brookins is suspended until June 3, 2011, unless he has his left foot x-rayed and cleared by an orthopedic doctor.

– Stephan Bonnar is suspended until Dec. 26 with no contact until Dec. 19 due to a scalp laceration.

– Nam Phan is suspended until Dec. 26 with no contact until Dec. 19 due to a scalp laceration.

– Leonard Garcia is suspended until Dec. 26 with no contact until Dec. 19 due to right temple scalp laceration.

– Ian Loveland is suspended until June 3, 2011, unless he has left second finger x-rayed and cleared by an orthopedic doctor.

– Fredson Paixao is suspended until Feb. 3, 2011, with no contact until Jan. 19, 2011.
