Fedor Emelianenko

Fedor Emelienanko is headed back to the ring to face UFC and Strikeforce veteran Jeff Monson, and the pay-per-view broadcast is now set as well.

Fedor vs. Monson will be available to U.S. customers via Integrated Sports Media for a price tag of $29.95 and it will air on Sunday, Nov 20 starting at 7:30am ET/4:30am PT.

The card will also be available through replays as well.

This is the first time Emelianenko has competed since losing three fights in a row in Strikeforce, and exited that promotion.

The one time heavyweight king will look to get his career back on track when he faces American Top Team grappler Jeff Monson on Nov. 20.

The hefty price tag seems a bit much for a fighter in Emelianenko, who has never drawn tremendous numbers in American pay-per-view revenue during his time with promotions like Bodog Fights and Affliction, but they will try, try again.

The timing of the fight will also be a tough sell in the U.S. market with a live fight starting at 7:30am ET from Olympia Arena in Moscow, Russia.

Regardless, Fedor will face Monson and it will be available via pay-per-view starting on Nov. 20.

$29.95 to see this match? Yeah, I’ll pass!

    • Black Belt

I agree. Waste of time and money!

Lol at this complete UFC nuthuggery by MMAWEEKLY!

It is fair to say that Fedor single-handedly drew PPV numbers for Affliction and SF. How many freaking times did Fedor fight for Bodog??????

So everyone that has promoted Fedor in the past must be retarded huh? Mind you, Affliction and SF paid Fedor enough money to payout all of the fighters in one UFC event.

Is this a serious post? LOL

      • bajafox

I’m afraid so. He has a huge boner for the UFC and Dana White

What wonggfan doesn’t apparently realize is that most of us are laughing at him, not with him…

    • Black Belt

wonggfan is an asshole. How many times do we ALL have to tell him what a tool he is? He still runs off at the mouth like he knows everything. Seriously, wong, go find a place to play where people actually like you, or care about what you have to say. Enough with the all-knowing statements already!

    This article in noticeably biased

You might as well just beg people not to purchase a non Zuffa event outright

Good luck for Fedor. Good luck for mma, whoever does it

  • shaman

LMAO that other people noticed the same thing!

  • bajafox

I don’t see it as biased. Why would they mention that Fedor “exited” that promotion (Strikeforce) when we all know damn well he was basically fired.

If the article said he was let go, dropped or fired from Strikeforce, then I would see it as biased.

    Serious question:

Yes or no, are you going to pay $30 to watch Fedor vs. Monson at 7:30 a.m. ET / 4:30 a.m. PT?

      And boom goes the dynamite.

    • BigGuy

      Hell no!

      • shereko

BigGuy that was great!! hahaha nice.

    • Black Belt

Ridiculous time slot…Ridiculous fight. Who would pay to see this has-been fight Monson? I might watch it if it was being offered for free. Hell, even then I probably wouldn’t!

  • Santz

Hell no, I’ll also pass…and that’s before I found out about the time slot…lol!
