Not only
ranked as the #1 heavyweight in the world, but also highly regarded as the top
pound-for-pound as well, Fedor Emelianenko is not taking Matt Lindland lightly.
Fedor realizes that he tips the scales a little bit lighter than most of
today’s top heavyweights and he’s expecting Lindland to be ready.

In this
video interview with the American media in Russia, href="http://members.mmaweekly.com/InTheCage.asp">Fedor fields a number of
questions as the hours wind down to the most anticipated fight in the short
history of BodogFight. He discusses everything from stepping up his training
for this fight to what he thinks of Lindland to his thoughts on the Fertitta
brothers’ purchase of Pride and more.

Long-time
martial arts action movie star Jean-Claude Van Damme is also in Russia for the
Fedor vs. Lindland fight. In fact, href="http://members.mmaweekly.com/BehindTheScenes.asp">Van Damme and Fedor
appeared together at a joint press conference to announce a new MMA-based
movie that Van Damme is working on. He also gave the crowd his thoughts on Fedor
and other athletes in MMA, as well as expressing his admiration for the sport.
