LAS VEGAS – The fighters for Wednesday’s World Extreme Cagefighting event weighed-in on Tuesday at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. All the fighters made weight without a problem.

The main event features a bout between WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber, who is ranked No. 3 in the world by MMAWeekly.com, squares off against No. 7-ranked Jeff Curran.

Leading up to the fights, Jens Pulver – making his WEC debut at 145-pounds – and opponent Cub Swanson have commenced a war of words in the media. The heat didn’t cool down at the weigh-ins. The two had an intense stare-down and a little jawing before being separated by WEC co-general manager Scott Adams.
