Take 2 – Although our attempts to get Urijah Faber on for his scheduled appearance last night didn’t quite work out, we have managed to reschedule Faber for tonight’s radio show. So tonight, we’ll take another crack at the defending WEC Featherweight Champ and get his thoughts on his fight this Saturday night with Dominic Cruz.

Cruz is a hard-nosed fighter that has made his way up the ranks fighting for Rage In The Cage in Arizona and the Total Combat promotion in California. His professional record now stands at 9-0, but Faber represents a big jump up in competition for Cruz.

Joe Riggs makes his return to the WEC this Saturday night at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev. after racking up a 3-3 record in his past 6 fights, all for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Having bounced back and forth between 170 and 185 pounds in the UFC, Riggs will also be returning to the 185-pound weight class to face Hiromitsu Miura, who is coming off of a victory at K-1 Hero’s late last year.

All three fighters – Faber, Cruz and Riggs – are slated to join Damon & Jeff LIVE tonight on MMAWeeklyRadio.com at 6pm PT / 9pm ET.
